Here's my version of the '12 Days of Christmas', Halo-style.

Halo: The 12 Slays of Christmas

On the twelth day of Halo

Bungie gave to me:

12 gunners gunning

11 snipers sniping

10 grunts a-sleeping

9 brutes advancing

8 pistols whipping

7 nades a-sticking

6 players slaying

5 halo rings

4 swearing words

3 trenched friends

2 hurtful shoves

and a medal for a sword spree

I'm most proud of '3 trenched friends' = '3 french hens' and '2 hurtful shoves' = '2 turtle doves'.

An alternative for the last line is 'and a cartridge for an SMG'.
